Never Coming Back

I LOVED this book.  I loved Clara and her friends and her mom.  I loved the setting.  I felt all the feels.  This book was deeply emotional and forced me to confront some things about my own parents.

Clara was raised by a very independent, odd, offbeat mom and she could not wait to leave home. Now she is a successful writer but must return home because her mother is suffering from dementia. Clara must face certain demons, reconcile her past and in doing do learns a lot about her mother and herself. There are several powerful love stories in this beautifully written novel.

5/5 stars.  I didn’t want it to end.  I want to go back and hang out with Clara and her friends.
